The National Archives DC

The National Archives and Records Administration, known as the "nation's file cabinet" contains the original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, which are on display in the main hall. It also displays exhibits and parts of the National Archive's more than 3 billion records.                     

Open:: Daily 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., except Christmas; Group tours are available by appointment, call (202) 501-5205.

Admission: Free
