Tour Overview

The White House is open to public tours. These tours are self-guided and are available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays, and 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays (except federal holidays).

Reserving White House Tickets

White House tickets are free of charge. Requests for passes need to be submitted through your Member of Congress. Requests should be made atleast 1 month in advance of your visit, although they can be made up to 6 months prior. Contact your Representative and/or Senators by calling the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Alternatively, contact your Member of Congress at www.house.gov or www.senate.gov. If possible, you should provide flexible tour dates. Be sure to present identity information exactly as it appears on your ID card.
