Washington, DC--Police are actively looking for a bank robber who apparently dropped his wallet in making a getaway after the heist.
Investigators for the crime reported that the man walked into a TD Bank in Northwest Washington around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday and handed a note to the teller. After collecting money, he fled the bank.
But as the robber ran away, a die pack hidden among the stolen bills exploded, according to Police.
In trying to get rid of the dye pack, the man appears to have inadvertently dropped his wallet, which contained ID with the name Ahmed Hassan on it, police said.
