The map shows the grounds of Dulles Airport, which is located in the suburbs of Washington, DC, and covers 11,830 acres (or 18.5 square miles). It has a main terminal with only concourse Z attached to it. On the West end of the main terminal, the International Arrivals Building is where all passengers arriving from international destinations are transported for security processing.
Concourses A and B are located midfield immediately to the South and can be reached from the terminal by the airport subway, moving escalator, and pedestrian walkway. Further South is concourse C, which be reached directly by the airport's subway. Next to it is concourse D, which can be reached only directly by the airport ground shuttle or from concourse C. Next to the concourses, Dulles's four runways are to the West, East, and Southwest of the terminal. On the North side of the terminal is the airport's main entrance with departure and arrivals decks for pick up and drop off for those reaching the airport by vehicle.
Many of the services and facilities that Dulles offer are located to the North of the main terminal. Daily and hourly parking at the parking lot facing the decks of the main terminal entrance. Additional mid-term and long-term parking lots are found to the Northwest of the airport and are reached by ground shuttle. Marriott is the only hotel on the grounds of Dulles and is situated between the hourly and long-term/medium-term parking lots. However, a number of more modestly priced hotels located within a few miles of the airport offer pick-up and drop-off service to the main entrance.
Situated at the far southern tip of the Airport is the Steven F Udvar-Hazy Center.
